Meet the Admin

Hey there! I am known as Gears within a small group of the Movers fanbase, but you can call me any names you know me as. I'm a 20-something year old from Southeast Asia who grew up watching Imagination Movers back when it aired on Playhouse Disney. In 2024 I was motivated to watch it again after I stumbled upon a video on it made by Athena P on Youtube! Seeing the show in a now different perspective really fostered my newfound appreciation for this piece of my childhood.

I have little memory of watching the show as a kid itself, however I do remember some games they used to have on the now-unavailable Playhouse Disney website, especially one called "My Idea Box". If you're unfamiliar, it's where this site's icon originated from! Also the Movers probably played a part in shaping my music tastes and why I like funky trumpet noises.

My favourite IM album recently is "For Those About to Hop". There's too many songs and episodes to pick just one favourite, so I think that's all for now.

About the Show

In brief, Imagination Movers was a TV series that aired on Playhouse Disney and later Disney Junior from 2008 to 2013. It starred 4 guys from a band of the same name, the Imagination Movers, about their adventures in the Idea Warehouse as they solve problems and "Idea Emergencies" as well as sing, dance and make music.
